Our Deletion Commitment

At BillReminder, we believe in giving you absolute ownership and control over your financial records. You can choose to delete your account and clear all stored data at any point. Once deletion is triggered, your information is wiped instantly and permanently.

Important Notice: Account deletion is immediate and completely irreversible. All active notifications, payment logs, recurring bill profiles, and budget parameters will be cascade deleted from our primary servers. We do not retain backup caches or archived versions of deleted user profiles.

What Data Will Be Purged?

Upon triggering account deletion, the following categories of records are permanently purged:

User Identity: Your profile name, email address, password hash, and timezone.
Bill Registry: All registered bills, custom tracking titles, categories, and due schedules.
Payment Histories: Timelines of past payments, actual paid amounts, payment notes, and tags.
Income Profiles: Your income values, pay frequencies, and payday horizon configurations.
Notification Schedules: Active email alert rules, custom offset timings, and dispatch registers.

How to Request Deletion

Delete Account via the Web Portal

Log in to your account at mybillreminderapp.com.
Navigate to the Settings page using the dashboard sidebar.
Ensure you are in the Preferences tab.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Danger Zone.
Click Delete Account and confirm the warning dialog.

Delete Account via the Mobile App

Open the BillReminder app on your mobile device.
Tap the Settings or Profile tab in the bottom navigation menu.
Scroll down to the bottom of settings to locate the account controls.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm your request in the warning modal to initiate the cascade deletion.

Request Deletion via Support Email

If you are unable to access the web portal or the mobile application, you can submit a manual deletion request:

Compose an email to [email protected].
Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request.
Send the request from the same email address associated with the BillReminder account you wish to delete.

* Note: Manual verification may take up to 24–48 hours to process. Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email.
